Year 7 English was tasked with creating a hand-drawn book cover for a children's picture book titled: Matilda and the Living Library. The concept was that Matilda possessed a special power that allowed her to magically transport herself inside the stories she reads.

The students had to use a range of visual techniques to represent the concept of the book and capture a sense of magic and adventure.
